We aim for the greater understanding of the Filipino culture as we believe that film is a manifestation of the ways of society.



VISION

We believe that culture is the unity of partisan philosophy and interests and thus, shall promote deeper understanding of it in the popular artistic medium of film. We believe that film is a critical tool for social awakening and, thus, shall advance film awareness, appreciation, and education.





OBJECTIVES

1. To help promote critical thinking and creative film consciousness among its members, the academic community, as well as the other sectors within the University.

2. To undertake studies, encourage awareness of film aesthetics, as well as be involved in the issues emanating from and affecting the cinema, the University, and the society in general.

3. To instill technical and aesthetic knowledge of film making and film reviewing among its members, and help harness the creative capabilities of its constituents in the said medium in the fulfillment of its mission to the University and the society.

4. To develop close links with the academic, artistic, and commercial sectors of local and international film communities for well-roundedness in the discourse of current trends in film.

5. To foster unity and mutual cooperation among all organization members as well as other sectors within the University.
